A New Seaside Spot for Hove
Babble has officially opened its doors at Hove Beach Park, part of the exciting new seafront development led by Brighton & Hove Council. The Babble team have started trading on a long-term lease, with the venue offering a vibrant, sun-up to sun-down hospitality experience right at the heart of the community.
Our new home has been built around a café, bar, and kitchen concept with beautiful sea views and east, west, and south-facing terraces for outdoor dining. Whether you're grabbing coffee in a morning breeze or sipping a spritz at sunset, Babble welcomes everyone, come rain or shine, with a focus on quality, generosity, and personality.

Babble’s kitchen serves up a vibrant all-day menu built around high-quality, seasonal ingredients and a strong focus on local produce. Mornings start with freshly baked pastries, expertly brewed coffee, and standout brunch dishes like poached eggs, Turkish eggs, and our banging sausage, bacon and egg breakfast bap, designed to start the day right.
Lunchtime brings bold, flavour-packed options such as the chef’s award-winning tacos and our stacked Double Slam burgers. We also offer dedicated kids’ menu options to keep the whole crew happy. For those making the most of the nearby sports facilities, or just looking to feel good, we offer healthy, protein-packed options, plus fresh juices and smoothies to take away and fuel your day.
As soon as the sun shows up, our outside BBQ comes alive. Think whole joints of meat from Barfields butchers, local veggies from Shrub Provisions, charred breads, and our own house-made sauces and ferments. It’s simple, bold food designed to be taken to the beach or savoured with a view of the promenade.
